The horror…The shame…

Hello bright shiny spring world!  Yes, I am in a good mood.  Why am I in a good mood, you ask.  Well, first, because it is absolutely *beautiful* outside.  The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and yours truly has taken Ms. Sadie (my now-sleeping pup) outside several times today.  The second reason I’m in a good mood is that I had caffeine today.  For those of you that don’t know me, I do not typically drink caffeine, so when I do, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Anyway, a few days ago, as I sitting down to write my weekly letters (yes, I write letters…in fact, I wrote a post on my letter writing, find it here)I discovered something that was equally frightening and shameful – I was almost out of my monogrammed stationery – cue the horrified gasps now!  Ok, for those of you who are not from the South, let me explain the staples of a Southern woman’s life… family pearls, hats, a closet full of dresses, brooches, sorority pin, and monogrammed stationery.  Upon making my shocking discovery, I immediately contacted my printer and had some more notecards and envelopes printed.  However, they don’t arrive until tomorrow, so I have my fingers crossed hoping I don’t have to write any emergency “Thank Yous” before tomorrow afternoon.

Until then, I am going to head out for a run soon and enjoy this glorious spring day!  I hope you are able to enjoy this beautiful weather as well.

Until We Meet Again,
